- Hit the backs of his legs to knock him down. Players
- Jump and air-dash over the area attack and the whirlpool. Players
- Clear the poison fish with the Splash Hammer special, chakrams, or dashes at full Power Meter. Players

The Necronomicon
- Kill the enemies on the way to the arena so they don't follow you in. There's no fog wall. Players
- Strafe, and lean on throwing weapons; homing throwables are excellent. A thrown cube reportedly stops its spin. Players
- Afterwards your daggers gain acid. Use it on the moaning faces to leave. Players

General boss tips
- Never swing at an empty Power Meter. Charged hits at full meter are your damage. Players
- Look for knockdowns. Several bosses have a weak point (Dagoom's legs) that knocks them down for free hits. Players
- Bring throwables. They are free damage while your melee meter refills, and each has its own recharge. Players
- Check the bestiary for weaknesses, and bring a matching weapon. Players
- Explore first. Levels, weapon levels and hidden stat foods matter more than reflexes. Players
