This page names late-game areas and items. Puzzle answers are folded — open only the ones you need.
Short version: beach → Holy Sword Endu → Obmuer Temple (Dagoom) → Verdant Hollow → Tower of Knowledge (Storm Gem, Necronomicon) → Deimpo Mausoleum → Forgotten Dungeon / Rotting Cavern → Ancient World → the late areas. Stay out of the well by the starting camp until you are much stronger.
The route most players take
-
The beach and the Holy Sword Endu · 72.3% got the sword
You start on the beach with a Rusted Short Sword. Pick up the Dagger Belt (throwing daggers) early. In the full game, stone doors and the switch into the ruins near the big tree are opened by throwing daggers at them, which is a change from the demo. Players Players Inside the ruins you find the Endu Shrine Gate Key. Its shrine holds the Holy Sword Endu, which lets you dash through the air between platforms. Official
Grab the secret Pandora Blade on the way if you want it.
-
Obmuer Temple and Dagoom the Sea King · 54.5% reached · 34.8% beat Dagoom
The flooded temple area is the main path after the sword. Its doors use trident keys, and one key comes from breaking a flimsy Trident weapon you find there. The water temple boss is Dagoom the Sea King. Full walkthrough of the keys and puzzles: Trident keys & Obmuer Temple.
-
Verdant Hollow · 47.8% reached
The forest region. Some players reach it before Dagoom. It links to the Rotting Cavern (through a hollow tree) and to the high Puwema temple. Players
-
Tower of Knowledge · 30.4% reached · 19.4% beat the Necronomicon
The library tower. Here you recover the Storm Gem (22.8% of players), which powers Endu's special attack. Players You also meet Knowledge Keeper Wourha, collect lost books and fight The Necronomicon. Defeating the tower's boss adds items to the shop, including a spare trident key. Players See the Tower of Knowledge guide.
-
Deimpo Mausoleum · 17.1% reached
A tomb with its own teleporter, spider caves, moving-block secrets and a rooftop you can reach through its round windows. It holds the Knight Expedition key and parts of several side quests. Players Players
-
Forgotten Dungeon and Rotting Cavern · 12.5% / 8.8% reached
The prison and the poison swamp. Both are harsh, and both are places players fall into by accident. The Rotting Cavern hides the Gigantic Serf (1.6%). If you're trapped, see how to escape. Players Players
-
Ancient World · 6.5% reached
A technological region with dome teleporters, electricity puzzles and its own Seal Breakers. Its gate is the most common late blocker. Players Players
-
Late game · 3% Petrified Garden · 2.8% Record of Sin · 1.8% Siraatsu Castle
The Petrified Garden, the Record of Sin and Siraatsu Castle lead to the endings. On 2026-11-02, only 0.9% of players had seen any ending. See endings.
Where to go first (and the well)
Once you have the sword, the obvious drop is the well near the starting camp. It leads to a deep, high-level area full of strong enemies. Several players dropped in, saved at the crystal down there, and couldn't climb back out at a low level. Players Players
- Save before you jump, and do not save while you're down there.
- If you're already stuck, there is a teleporter out. Directions are on the Areas page.
- Head toward Obmuer Temple instead. Use Endu's air dash to cross gaps from the starting island.

Ancient World gate and electricity puzzles
The Ancient World is the most-asked late-game question. Player hints, from least to most spoilery: Players
- Look for the dome-shaped buildings with a triangle on top (blue lights). They teleport you around the region. One of them reaches the tower standing on its own separate island.
- Players compare the gate to the way earlier locked buildings opened: find and activate the pointed towers.
Where are the Seal Breakers?spoiler
Players report that the blue Seal Breaker is in an underground lab on the same island as the lone tower, along with the Shock Rifle you need later. The green one is not in the Ancient World at all; the hint given is "very high up… above where the dead all rest." The orange (Ochre) one also opens things back in the starting region. Players
How do the electricity puzzles work?spoiler
Shooting a node lights it and its neighbors. Start from the "endpoint" nodes that only toggle two balls, light everything around them first, and leave the endpoints for last. There are several of these puzzles, and each is harder than the last. Players have posted video solutions in the Steam thread. Players
Exploration tips that save hours
- Skeletons are hints. Corpses that point usually point at a secret wall nearby. Players
- Watch the crosshair. It lights up on switches, including crystal switches at eye level that are easy to miss. Players
- Write down locked doors. With no map, a short note ("trident door, left of the shipwreck") saves a lot of backtracking.
- Come back with more Wind Gems. Ledges you can't reach usually need more dash charges, not a key.
FAQ
Where do I go first in Queen's Domain?
Get the Dagger Belt and the Holy Sword Endu on the starting beach, then head for Obmuer Temple, the flooded temple area. Do not drop into the well by the starting camp yet; it leads to a much harder late-game area.
Where do I go after the Tower of Knowledge?
Most players go on to the Deimpo Mausoleum, then the Forgotten Dungeon and Rotting Cavern. Steam data shows 30.4% of players reached the Tower of Knowledge and 17.1% the Mausoleum.
Where do I go after the Deimpo Mausoleum?
The Forgotten Dungeon (12.5% of players), the Rotting Cavern (8.8%) and then the Ancient World (6.5%). The Ancient World door needs Seal Breakers found elsewhere.
Is there a map in Queen's Domain?
No. You only have a compass. Use Wing Altars and landmarks, and note where locked doors are so you can come back with the right key.
